DOLORES RITA SERIO MOORDolores Serio Moor, 77, of Galveston, passed away at her home on March 13, 2008, with her family at her side.  She was born December 8, 1930, in Beaumont, Texas, but was a long time resident of Galveston.  She graduated from Ursuline Academy in 1947.  Dolores and Joel traveled and lived in many cities in Texas as well as in Saudi Arabia.  They moved back to Galveston to spend their retirement.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Katherine Serio.

Dolores is survived by her husband of 60 years, Joel W. Moor, Jr.; her sons, Joel W. Moor, III, and Timothy V. Moor; granddaughters, Angela and Christina Moor; and their mother, Carol Moor.  She is also survived by her brother, Sam Serio and wife, Nina Jo; and sisters, Vivian Renfrow and husband, Paul; Cheryl Carlson and companion Brenda Langford; and numerous nieces, nephews, loving relatives, and her loving cat, Kitty.

The family will receive visitors after 5:00 pm, Friday, March 14th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home.  A rosary will be held at 6:00 pm.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am, Saturday, March 15th, at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father John Paul Flajole as Celebrant.

Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Renfrow, Jr., John Arenas, III, John Milligan, Anthony Asta, Vincent Serio, and Al Rodriguez.
