Patricia Ann ParnellMrs. Patricia Ann Parnell passed from this life Saturday, March 22, 2008, at her home.

Born November 1, 1938 in Pahokee, FL, Mrs. Parnell had been a resident of Brazoria for 4 years, previously of Santa Fe.  She had been a homemaker who was of the Baptist faith, a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie #3789 for 23 years, and enjoyed bar-b-q cook offs with Pat's Misfits, fishing, football, the outdoors, watching hummingbirds and especially loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Klien and "Mama Kay" Carmichael; nephew, Tim Kennedy and great-niece, Patricia Kennedy.

Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, Jim Parnell, Sr.; son, Jim Parnell, Jr. and wife, Christine of Santa Fe; daughters, Kristi Narvaez-Cumby of Santa Fe, Lori McKinzie and fiancé Ron Naquin of Brazoria, Cheri Anderson of Hitchcock, Jami Hicks of Brazoria; sons-in-law, Ricky Narvaez, Robert Cumby and Ricky Myers all of Santa Fe; 16 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Joy Dates and husband, Gary of Texas City; sister-in-law, Yvonne Saenz and husband, Willie of Santa Fe; numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery with Chaplain Chad Hawkins officiating.  Interment under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.

Casketbearers will be Robert Cumby, Chuck Frisch, James E. Parnell, Jr., Joe Selvera, Nate Siebenmann, Ricky Myers, Ron Naquin and Ricky Narvaez.  Honorary bearers will be grandsons, Keith, Sean, Alex, Matt, Tayler, Cory, Nick, Ryan and Christian.

She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
