Pearland City Council

Pearland City Council on Monday voted to approve a resolution declaring unopposed candidates and canceling the May 10 election. Mayor Tom Reid and Council Member for Position 3 Steve Saboe will retain their seats.

The city council tabled a resolution to participate in an interlocal cooperative pricing arrangement with the Houston-Galveston Area Council for purchase of a tractor and boom mower.

The city council voted to approve a resolution authorizing a contract for engineering design services associated with the McHard Road Project.

The city council voted to approve entering into a reimbursement agreement associated with installation of a traffic signal at the intersection of Shadow Creek Parkway and Business Center Drive.

The city council voted to approve renaming the Pearland Recycling Center as the Stella Roberts Recycling Center.

All other items were approved. All members were present.
