Joseph Riley HillmanJoseph Riley Hillman, 18, passed from this life Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at his home in Hitchcock.

Born July 21, 1989 in Texas City to John Riley and Julie Reitmeyer Hillman, he was employed by Quick Pawn in Texas City.   Joseph was an avid fisherman, and loved working on his truck, but the love of his life was his four-month-old niece, Kamille.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Hines Hillman and William T. Reitmeyer, Jr.

Survivors include his parents, John and Julie Reitmeyer Hillman, sister, Jennifer Hillman and Paul Jefferson; niece, Kamille Jefferson; grandmothers, Frankie Hillman and Julie Reitmeyer; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A service celebrating his life will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2008, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Chaplain Chad Hawkins officiating.  Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Matt Cambiano, Ryan Cottrell, Jason Kerry, Marc Macrini, Michael Magyar, Jeremy Melchor, Jake Reyna, Tyler Sander and Dakota White.

Friends may call from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.

Those who wish may make memorials in the form of donations to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
