Following a performance by Mariachi Meca, Maureen Patton, executive director of The Grand 1894 Opera House, introduced Teri Wenglein-Callender, who is honorary co-chair of the Grand Kids Festival with her husband University of Texas Medical Branch President Dr. David Callender; and Kelly Chambers and Lynn Barrett, co-chairs of the Grand Kids Festival Committee.
