James Lightfoot departed this life on April 29, 2008, at UTMB after a brief illness.
He was born on December 6, 1920, in Eagle Lake, Texas. He moved to Houston in 1982 until returning to Galveston in May 2006.
Mr. Lightfoot was preceded in death by his mother, Ophelia Hill.
He is survived by his wife, Elva Lightfoot; son, Alzono Donahue, both of Houston TX and a host of nieces and nephews from Galveston. He was loved by all and will be missed dearly.
Viewing will begin at 6 PM on Saturday, May 3rd followed a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at E R Johnson Family Mortuary.
