Joshua Darnell EvansGALVESTON- Joshua Darnell Evans, 18 departed this life on Friday, May 2, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. Joshua was born on February 18, 1990, in Galveston, Texas. He attended school in Galveston and La Marque.

He leaves to cherish memories, his parents, Lisa Victoria (Kevin) of Houston, and John D. Evans of Galveston; brothers, Larry Johnson; Jonathan Evans; John Evans, Jr. and Willie Evans; sisters, LaTarsha Johnson; Elease Williams; LaQuisha Henderson; Tina Rideaux and Kim Evans-Ward; uncles, Darrell Harris and Fred Harris; aunts, Jessie Jean Helms; Bertha Stredic; Joyce Grant; Edwina Donald; Marva Bagby; Gladys Evans and Kay Evans; great grandmother, Eugenia Harris; extended family, Melvin and Belinda Buster; special niece and nephew, Daiona Hill and Ronald Mack III; devoted cousins, Gaylan Hayward and Wilbert Williams, Jr.; special friend and mother of his unborn child, Shanay Fleullen; a host of other cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, teammates and friends.

Viewing will begin at 4PM on Friday, May 9th, followed by a wake from 7-8pm at E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary. A service celebrating his life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 10, 2008, at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Pastor N. D. Burkley, Sr. officiating. He will be laid to rest in Lakeview Cemetery.
