Carnes Brothers Funeral Home

Robert “Nose” PenaRobert “Nose” Pena, 57, of Galveston, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2008 at John Sealy Hospital in Galveston, Texas. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home, 1201 Tremont in Galveston with Deacon John Pistone officiating.  Graveside services will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Galveston. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 12, 2008 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary to be held at 7:00 pm.

Robert was born April 7, 1951 in Galveston, Texas to Leo and Bertha Aguilar Pena. He worked as a longshoreman in Galveston and loved to play his guitars for family and friends.

Preceded in death by his father, Leo Pena and brother Gilbert Pena, Robert is survived by his mother, Bertha Pena of Galveston; daughter, Rachel Pena of Austin, Texas; twin brother, Roland Pena of Galveston; aunts, uncles, two nieces and many friends.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
