“Linen and Lace,” the Mother’s Day Champaign brunch and fashion show that has become a traditional event during the final weekend of the Galveston Historic Homes Tour, will take place on Sunday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to noon at the 1880 Garten Verein Pavilion, 2704 Avenue O.
 
Guests may start their Homes Tour Sunday at a sumptuous champagne brunch buffet served by Carriage Caterers. Galveston’s grand 1880 German dancing pavilion situated in KempnerPark is the venue for this event. Guests will be presented a fashion show by Galveston's downtown Atrium Boutique, featuring a “one-suitcase travel wardrobe,” of fashions made specifically for easy-care travel and around-town stylish comfort.
 
Tickets to the Mother's Day Brunch are $45, and include a ticket to the Galveston Historic Homes Tour.
