Litsa Wittliff, 84, of Galveston, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2008, at UTMB Hospital.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Thursday, May 22nd, at the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will follow the service in the Greek Orthodox Cemetery in Galveston.
The family will receive visitors after 5:00 pm, Wednesday , May 21st, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home. A Trisagion will be held at 6:00 pm.
Litsa was born May 15, 1924, in Greece. She owned and operated Angler’s Fish & Bait Picnic Supply from 1958 until the 1980’s. She was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church.
Litsa was preceded in death by her parents, Dimetrios and Malvina Counnis; her husband, Alex Wittliff; and her brothers, Ted and Angelo Counnis.
She is survived by her loving guardian, Carolina Kriticos, of Galveston.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tikie Kriticos, Larry Kriticos, Michael Kriticos, Gus Kriticos, Milton Brian Sampson, and Bob Pickering.
