Rainier Conley, Sr.Rainier Conley, Sr., 40, received his reward of eternal rest on Friday, May 16, 2008 at ClearLakeRegionalMedicalCenter in Webster, TX.


Ray as he was affectionally called by family and friends was born May 2, 1968, in Galveston. He attended public school in Houston and Galveston and was a 1987 graduate of BallHigh School. He later attended GalvestonCollege and received his certification in HVAC. Ray was employed with Leave It 2 US, his business he dreamed of for years before his untimely death. He was a member of LakewoodChurch in Houston. Ray had a great passion for his antique cars and his horses.

 
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jean Cappony Garrett.


His sense of humor and love for life, enabled him to leave precious memories that will linger in the heart of his loving wife, Marletta Rowe Conley; sons, Rainier, Jr.; Andre and Kamdon Conley and De Andre Lamb; daughters; Lakeia and Tiffany Conley; father, James Conley; brother, Derrick Garrett; grandparents, Mary Cappony; Rose Mary Allen; Nathaniel “Bull” Allen, Sr. and Audrey Hawkins; uncle, Ajax Allen; aunts, Alsace Williams; Gwendolyn Wiggins, Regina; Carolyn; Betty; Jackie; Debra Ann; Angela; Faye and Nadine Allen; nephews, Damian Morgan; Christopher Haynes, Jr. and Willie Rowe, Jr.; niece, De Shawn Haynes; Diana  and Aliah Rowe; Goddaughter, Aleah Taylor; extended family, Wanda Rochelle Lomax; Bobby ”Glenn” Lomax, Jr.; Eric Haynes; Eric and Carolyn Hawkins; mother in law, Linda Rowe; father in law, Willie Rowe, Sr.; sisters in law, Cynthia Rowe-Morgan; Tammy Haynes; brothers in law, Mr. & Mrs. Willie Rowe, Jr.; Christopher Haynes; host of other relatives and friends.

 
Visitation will begin at 4PM on Friday, May 23rd followed by a wake from 7-8PM at E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary. A service celebrating his life will be held at 1:00 P.M. at St. JohnBaptistChurch with Pastor Louis Simpson, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock.
