Andre L. Wilson, 38, received his reward of eternal rest on Sunday, May 18, 2008, at UTMB Hospital.
Andre was born on July 4, 1969, in Galveston. He attended public school in Galveston and was a 1988 graduate of Ball High School, he also attended Galveston College. He was employed with the TXDOT Bolivar Ferry System for 14 years and was later employed at Ryan Marine until his health began to fail.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Price Wilson; aunts, uncles and his grandparents.
He leaves to cherish memories, his father, Harrison Wilson, Sr. and wife, Verna; daughter, D’Andria Wilson; brother, Harrison Wilson, Jr.; sisters, Bless Wilson; Shayla Romar and Sarai Wilson; goddaughters, Dominique Payton and Kresenda Foreman; seven aunts; eleven uncles; devoted friends, Monica Williams; Berdie Bell; John Allen; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will begin at 9:30a.m., prior to a service celebrating his life at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2008, at the Mt Zion Baptist Church (227 4
Ave. N) in Texas City with Pastor Larry Johnson, officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Galveston.
