The fifth-annual tribute to the veterans of Orange County will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, May 25 at the Heritage Veterans Memorial Plaza on the grounds of Orange First Church of the Nazarene, 3810 M.L. King Drive in Orange.

The public is invited to join in the patriotic tribute to all veterans and those currently serving in the military, said Ron Emmert, chair of the committee responsible for the event.

The Heritage Veterans Memorial Plaza surrounds a life-size sculpture by Colorado artist Scott Stearman “Tears From a Grateful Heart” depicting a solider kneeling at a gravesite in gratitude and remembrance of a fallen comrade in arms.  The memorial includes the inscription of the names of hundreds of veterans from Orange County.
