Gladys M. St. Julien
E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary
Gladys M. St. Julien, 92, received her reward of eternal rest on Thursday, May 22, 208 at Bay Oak Healthcare Center in Texas City.
Gladys was born August 27, 1915, in Franklin LA. She attended Lincoln High School in Port Arthur, and East District and Central High School in Galveston. She was former member of First Union and Mt Calvary Baptist in Galveston and later joined Gtr. St. Matthews Baptist Church in Hitchcock and remained faithful until her health failed.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Harry St. Julien; her parents, one brother and one sister.
She is survived by her sisters, Mary Louise McNeal of Gretna, LA; Mary Lucille Williams and Thelma Phillips both of Franklin, LA; Evelyn Matthews and Arline Verdun both of La Marque; brother, Felton J. Fosters, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA; devoted niece and nephew, Faye St Julien Taylor and Melvin St Julien both of Houston; special friend, Dorothy Davis of Hitchcock; a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Viewing will begin at 9AM on Tuesday, May 27, 2008, followed by a service celebrating her life at 11:00 AM in the chapel of E R Johnson Family Mortuary with Pastor William Randall, Jr. officiating. She will be laid to rest in Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock.
