Roger Winslow Stone passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at the age of 53. He was born on January 8, 1955 in London, England to Richard and Doris Stone.

Roger is survived by his wife of 17 years Linda, daughter Elizabeth Stone, son Eric Stone, mother Doris Stone, sister Valerie Stone, nieces Lacy Shannon and Caitlyn O’Connor and many other loving co-workers and friends.

Roger died doing what he loved - sailing with his A&M students. His life was filled with adventure, and he will be remembered by so many people in so many different ways.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 5 p.m. at Clear Lake United Methodist Church, 16335 El Camino Real, Houston, Texas with Reverend Tony Vinson officiating. This is a celebration of Roger’s life, casual attire is requested.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Roger W. Stone Memorial Fund at any Bank of America.
