Gerald A. Baldasari
Malloy & Son Funeral Home

Gerald A. Baldasari, 93, of Galveston, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008, at UTMB Hospital.
 
The family will receive visitors at 9:00 am, Thursday, June 12th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home.  Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Gerald was born November 21, 1914, in Galveston, Texas.  He graduated from Ball High School and served his country in the armed forces during World War II.  Gerald was a local grocer, owning and operating Skip’s Grocery Store on the corner of 29th and Avenue R for many years.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus #787.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters: Corine, Vanda, and Tina.

Gerald is survived by his niece, Tina S. Miller; and great nephew, Tom Miller, both of Houston.
