Pearland City Council on Monday voted unanimously to authorize a contract to relocate utilities in association with the second phase of the Dixie Farm Road Project.

The item had been tabled during a previous meeting.

The city council voted unanimously to approve renewal of an engineering contract with John Hargrove. Hargrove had previously worked as Pearland's City Engineer until his retirement.

The city council voted unanimously to rename Hooks Road and Silverlake Boulevard as Silverlake Parkway.
