Pearland City Council

Pearland City Council on Monday voted unanimously to authorize a contract to relocate utilities in association with the second phase of the Dixie Farm Road Project.

The item had been tabled during a previous meeting.

The city council held a workshop regarding the long-distance commuter rail program. During the workshop, the council received a presentation concerning the Houston-Galveston Area Council's Regional Commuter Rail Connectivity Study. Click Here for Study

The city council voted unanimously to approve renewal of an engineering contract with John Hargrove. Hargrove had previously worked as Pearland's City Engineer until his retirement.

The city council voted unanimously to rename Hooks Road and Silverlake Boulevard as Silverlake Parkway.

The city council discussed in executive session but took no action regarding the City Manager's annual goals.

The city council discussed in executive session but took no action regarding reappointment of municipal court judges.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present.
