Jerri L. Stone
E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary

Jerri L. StoneJerri L. Stone received her reward of eternal rest on Sunday, June 22, 2008, at Gulf Health Care Center after a lengthy illness.

Jerri was born to the late Shelton and Mary Evans on July 10, 1941. She attended public school in Galveston and graduated with the class of 1958 of Central High School. She was a loyal and loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her only son, James Stone, Jr. and four brothers.

She leaves behind a very devoted sister, Mary Jane Darnell; three grandchildren, James Stone III; Crystal Stone, and Nykia Lartigue; seven great grandchildren; four aunts, Annie Mae Fonteno; Annie Williams (Duke); Rotina Houston, and Etta Hamilton (Andy); uncle, Oscar Guy; devoted nieces, Shelia Glover, Levenia Williams; Cynthia Alexander, and Nicole White; devoted friend, Annie Hill; numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th from 4-8PM. A homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery.
