Galveston Fourth of July Parade and Celebration

The Fourth of July Parade attracted a large crowd to Downtown Galveston.  

 

 

 


 

 

 

 

The parade was followed by a Fourth of July Celebration in the Galveston Island Railroad Museum.  Joe Huff was master of ceremonies.  Listen: RealPlayer  MP3

 

 


 

Sponsors and organizers of the July Fourth celebration include: Kroger, Sweet Leaf Tea, Galveston College, Galveston County Marine Corps League, Detachment #668, Galveston Lion’s Club, the Sons of the American Revolution - Bernardo Galvez Chapter, the Events Team, Talk of the Bay, and the city of Galveston.

Kathy Modzelewski coordinated the event.
