Florence “T-Baby” Gordon
E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary
Florence “T-Baby” Gordon, 64, departed this life on Saturday, July 5, 2008, at UTMB.
Florence was born on June 17, 1944 in Kountze, TX to McKinley, Sr. and Mattie Haynes.
A longtime resident of Galveston, she was a housewife.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Julius Gordon; sisters, Mattie Washington and Jimmie L. Cruse, and a brother, Zack Haynes.
She is survived by her brothers, McKinley Haynes, Jr.; Elder Joe Mack Haynes, and Joe Willie Haynes (Angie); sister, Francis Thompson; special friend, Caroletta Harris; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2008, followed by funeral service at 12: 00 noon in the chapel of E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary with Elder Jerry Haynes officiating. Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m.on Monday, July 14, 2008, at the Houston National Cemetery.
