Malloy & Son Funeral Home

Jacqueline Ann Hadley, 75, of Galveston, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at UTMB Hospital.

Her family will receive visitors on Thursday, July 17th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home from 2:00 until 5:00 pm.  Burial will be held on Saturday, July 19th, in her hometown of St. Louis, MO.

Jackie was born February 26, 1933, in St. Louis, MO.  She retired as the director of Edgewater Meals on Wheels.  Jackie was a devoted member of St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica and was also a member of the Rotary Club, Serra Club, and Kiwanas Club of Galveston.

She is survived by her husband, William Hadley; son, Richard Yelton and wife, Debbie, of Batava, IL; daughter, Lynne DiCarlo and husband, Nick, of St. Louis, MO; stepdaughters, Sheria Traylor and Susan Slinkard; sister, Virginia Ouellet; grandchildren: Angela DiCarlo Meacham and husband, Ken; Nicholas, Laura, and Andrew DiCarlo; Rick Yelton and wife, Tara; Brad and Kaitlyn Yelton; and numerous other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Jackie’s family requests that memorials be made to Edgewater Meals on Wheels, 2228 Seawall Blvd., Galveston, TX 77550.
