Margaret Eugenia Biehl
Carnes Brothers Funeral Home

Margaret Eugenia (Sis) Biehl, 88, of Galveston died Thursday, July 17, 2008, at Hallmark Retirement Center in Houston, Texas. Interment will be private under the direction of Carnes Brothers Funeral Home of Galveston with a Memorial Service to be announced.

Margaret was born October 3, 1919 in Galveston, Texas to Carl Christian Biehl and Hilda Reymershoffer Biehl. She graduated from Ball High School and continued her education at the University of Texas earning her Bachelors Degree. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church where she devoted a great deal of her time and energy to church programs.

Preceded in death by her parents, and siblings she is survived by her nieces, Lenchen Hamilton and husband, Fred of Winter Haven, Florida, and Ann Slade and husband, Chuck of Houston, Texas; nephew, Rick Biehl and partner, Dick Hollamon of Fischer, Texas; great nieces Laura Philpot and husband, David of Oviedo, Florida and Kelly Hogan and husband, Frank of Houston; great nephew, Scott Hamilton and wife Julie of Charlotte, North Carolina; 7 great, great nephews and one on the way; and many friends.
