Sharon Lee Levering Upchurch

Sharon Lee Levering Upchurch age 68, of Montgomery, Texas died Friday, July 18, 2008, at her residence in Montgomery. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston with the Reverend Ray Pinard officiating.
Sharon was born August 12, 1939 in Denver, Colorado to Daniel Levering and Edith Powers Levering. She was raised a Roman Catholic and always remained faithful to her God. She was a wonderful, generous, and artistic lady who loved people and nature. Sharon deeply loved her children and grandchildren and leaves behind a legacy of love for her entire family.
Preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Robert Douglas Upchurch; survivors include her daughter, Veronica Lee Edwards of Las Vegas; sons, Gregory Levering Rankin and wife Elsie of Conroe, and James Michael Rankin of Montgomery, Texas; granddaughters, Michelle and Elsie; grandsons, Noah and Tommy; brothers, Daniel Levering, and David Eatough both of Houston;great grandson, Daniel; a lifetime soul mate, Ernest Connally of Montgomery, Texas, other relatives and many friends.
