Sharon Denise KangeterSharon Denise Kangeter, 49, died Thursday, July 24, 2008 at her residence in Galveston. The family will receive visitors from 4 pm to 8 pm, Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home of Galveston.

Sharon was born August 26, 1958 in Galveston, Texas to Leroy Feigle and Sylvia Rosemary Cornitius Feigle. She attended Galveston public schools graduating from Ball High School with the class of 1975, a year ahead of her peers. She was on the Dean’s list for most of her high school career. She was a Pension Technician at ANICO having worked there since her graduation and having increased her position until she was at the top of her job discription. She loved her job, living to get up and go to work each day. She loved the people she worked with and looked forward to going out with her co-workers, Anna, Lois, Janis and Nancy. She enjoyed baking and  cooking for family and friends. She was very proud of her son, David who seems to be following his Mom in his school in Colorado.

Preceded in death by  her father, Leroy Feigle, step-father, Phillip Strimple and grandmother, Sylvia Cornitius, Sharon is survived by her husband, David Lee Kangeter, I of Galveston; son, David Lee Kangeter, II of Westminister, Colorado; mother, Rosemary Strimple of Bay City, Texas; sisters, Debbie Jones and husband, John of Galveston and Kim Ward and husband, Lane of Bay City; brother, Kenneth Feigle of Bay City, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
