Pearland City Council on Monday voted unanimously to authorize the city manager to enter into negotiations for a design build contract for construction of a University of Houston-Clear Lake campus in Pearland.

The city council voted unanimously to award a bid for construction services associated with the Dixie Farm Road Detention Project.

The city council voted unanimously to approve the second reading of a zoning change request from Single Family Residential to Neighborhood Service District for two acres of property located east of FM 1128 and north of Fite Road.

The city council voted unanimously to accept the City's Investment Report for the quarter ending June 2008.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present.
