Pearland City Council on Monday voted to approve renaming Orange Street Park as Hunter Park in honor of Robert and Julie Martin Hunter.

The city council tabled action on a contract for architectural and engineering design services for Hunter Park.

The city council voted to authorize City Manager Bill Eisen to participate in an interlocal agreement with the Houston-Galveston Area Council for the purchase of a pumper truck.

The city council tabled action on a resolution expressing the City's interest in participating in a proposed sports and recreation complex.

The city council took no action regarding appointment of municipal court judges. The item was discussed in executive session.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present.
