Glenda Josephine Nutley, 57 departed from this life on September 3, 2008 at Oceanview Transitional Center in Texas City, Texas. Services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Texas City on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 10:00 am with private burial following at Mt. Olivet Cemetary.

Born to Glenn W. and Josephine A. Nutley on June 23, 1951 in Galveston, TX, she was a lifelong resident of Galveston County and a member of St. Mary's parish in Texas City.
    
Glenda attended Texas City High School, College of the Mainland, and University of Houston where she graduated with a degree in early childhood development. Throughout her life she taught preschool in several private schools in the county.
    
Preceeded in death by her parents, she is survived by sisters Rita Giordano of Poughkeepsie, NY and spouse Robert, Angela Jones of Tiki Island and spouse, Joel, Cecilia Krych of Austin, TX and Patricia Mongillo and spouse, Jim of San Francisco, CA. along with numerous nieces and nephews.
    
Memorials may be made to St. Marys Catholic Church in Texas City or the Gulf Coast Center (MHMR) of Galveston County.
