Louise Augusta Chandler Smith
E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary
Louise Smith, 94, received her reward of eternal rest on Saturday, August 30, 2008, at UTMB Hospital.
She was the first child born to Mr. & Mrs. Harvey Chandler. She was raised in Houston, TX and was a graduate of Jack Yates High school. Mrs. Smith was a wonderful giving person and she loved the Lord. She lived a rich and full life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson Roy Frenchwood, Jr. and sister, Carrie Como.
She leaves cherish memories with her children, Gloria Frenchwood, Sharon Papillion and Richard Sam; five grandson; great grandchildren; a host of nieces nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2008 beginning at 10:00 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary with Rev. Norris D. Burkley, Sr. officiating.
