Jack Magness Mc DonaldJack Magness Mc Donald, 83, of Galveston died at Oceanview Transitional Center in Texas City, Texas, August 28, 2008. There will be a small memorial service for friends at 3:00 pm Sunday, September 14, 2008 at Robert’s Lafitte.

Jack was born June 2, 1925 in Eastland, Texas to W. H. Mc Donald and Billie Joe Magness Mc Donald.

He is survived by his friend and caretaker, Dana L. Finley of Galveston; friends, Pauline Fowler, Robert Mainor, Dr. Dave and John Buttacavaoli all of Galveston.

He managed Broadway Theater for over 10 years, managed Seawall Hotel for 12 years and then worked for the Ecomony Inn on the Seawall untill he retired. He loved to watch “old’ movies.
