Galveston Municipal Court to Open Monday

Galveston’s Municipal Court will re-open on Monday, September 29, 2008.  A skeletal crew of clerks will be available to answer questions and receive payments from the public from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.

Anyone with an outstanding ticket or citation with a due date falling between September 11^th and September 26^th, 2008, must contact the court to address their violation no later than October 31^st.  If you do not contact the court on or before this deadline, a warrant and failure to appear charge will be issued.

Municipal Court clerks will mail rescheduled court dates to anyone that had a trial or pre-trial hearing scheduled during the same time period.
