Alversia “Callie” WilsonAlversia “Callie” Wilson, 80, enter into eternal rest on Monday October 6, 2008, at her residence.

Mrs. Was born February 12, 1928, in Spring, TX to the family of George and Willie B. Pruitt. She was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Allen Wilson, Sr.; sisters, Ida Mae Shepard and Georgia Taylor.

She leaves with cherished memories, sister Ella Senegal (Joe); daughters: Alversia M. Jones and Debra Wilson; sons: Allen G. Wilson II; Darrell Wilson(Charlotte);special friends, Sandra Randle; Sandy Nash; Renee Wilson; Louis Jammer; O.L. King; Tammy Sharper; 21 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday October  10th from 5-7PM followed by a wake from 7-8PM at Carnes Funeral Home (3100 Gulf  Freeway) Texas City under direction of E R Johnson Family Mortuary.

A service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday October 11th at the Avenue L Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Dwyer officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
