E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary
Joshua Jack, 81, departed this life on Thursday, October, 9, 2008, in Bryan , Texas.
Joshua was born on October 15, 1926, in Elton, LA, to Moses Jack and Lena Campbell Jack. A longtime resident of Galveston, he was a retired construction worker.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mamie Jack; brother: Lloyd Jack; sisters: Letha Sams, Edolia Mansfields; Ola Mae Tims and Joyce Brewster; he is survived by his sons; brother: Roy Jacks; devoted friends: Stella Hill and Archie Ruth Declouet. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and administrative staff of Turner’s Geriatric Center.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th from 9-10:45a.m at Avenue L Baptist Church (2612 Avenue L) followed by graveside service at 11:00 am at Lakeview Cemetery. Burial will follow service.
