Lynda Marie Crear White
E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary
Lynda Marie Crear White, 52, passed away from this life into eternal rest on Monday October 13, 2008, at Methodist Hospital in Houston.
She was born July 8, 1956 in Lafayette, LA to Leroy and Louanna Crear. A beautiful baby girl she was and they named their blessing from God, Lynda Marie. She attended school in Washington, LA and later moved to Galveston, TX continuing her education and graduating from Ball High School. She was a member of St. John Baptist Church under Pastor Louis Simpson, Jr.. She was also employed with UTMB in the Radiology Dept.. She was united in marriage to Edward White and to this union two sons was born, William and Shaun.
She was preceded in death by her mother Louanna Crear; grandmothers: Viola Siverand and Eva Crear; grandfather: Jordan Crear.
Left with cherished memories is her devoted husband: Jimmy Gamble; sons: William Edward White and Shaun Le Darian White; grandchildren: D’Anastasia Lynae White and William Edward White, Jr.; father : Leroy Crear; stepmother: Louise Crear; stepsister: Loretha (Wayne ) Johnson; nephew: Marques J. Johnson; and a host of aunts uncles, other relatives and friends.
A wake service will be held from 8:30 - 9:30 PM on Friday , October 17th. A service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 2:00 PM both services at the Avenue L Baptist Church (2612 Avenue L) Rev. E. R. Johnson host pastor, her pastor: Rev. Louis Simpson, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
