Pearland City Council on Monday voted unanimously to declare a moratorium on platting requirements for owners of existing lots zoned and used as single family residential areas seeking to build new accessory structures or to improve, expand or replace structures already located on the property.
The city council tabled action on the issuance of water and sewer system revenue bonds.
The city council tabled the first and only reading of an ordinance approving a conditional use permit for 18.26 acres of property in the area north of John Lizer Road and east of Pearland Parkway to permit an assisted living facility.
The city council voted unanimously to deny a zoning change request for 26.58 acres of land west of State Highway 25 and south of McHard Road from Light Industrial to General Commercial District.
The city council voted unanimously to authorize an agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation for the construction, maintenance and operation of street lights on Cullen Parkway.
