BEAUMONT - St. Andrews Presbyterian Church will host the Beaumont Veteran’s Day Service, on Tuesday, November 11, 2008, 12:15 – 12:45 p.m. in the church sanctuary, 1350 N. 23rd Street (Corner of Gladys and 23rd Streets), Beaumont, Texas. The public is invited.
The Vidor Middle School Band will provide patriotic music beginning at noon and will play during the service. Join others as we honor our veterans and pray for our nation.
This year’s Veteran’s Day Service is dedicated to Luke Trahin, Pearl Harbor Survivor, and long time promoter of events honoring those who have served our country in uniform. Chief Petty Officer Trahin, USN (retired) died in 2007, shortly after last year’s Veteran’s Day services, which he had planned.
