Wilton Cutsay Wagner

Wilton Cutsay Wagner, 79, departed this life on November 9, 2008, surrounded by his loving family at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center.
Wilton was born on August 26, 1929, to Louvina and Alton Wagner, Sr. in Patoutville, LA. He was a longtime resident of the La Marque/Texas City area and was retired from H. L. & P.. He had quiet and loving spirit.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife: Thelma Gage Wagner; oldest brother, Clarence Jack James, and sister: Audrey Wagner Loston.
He leaves to cherish memories, his wife of 14 years, Thelma Rainey Wagner; son, Wilton Wagner, Jr.; daughters, Bertha Joseph all of Texas City, and Gina R. Hamilton (Lionel) of Jeanerette, LA; brother, Alton Wagner, Jr. (Silverine); sisters, Louise Phillips both of La Marque, and Dorothy Boyd (Samuel) of Hitchcock; Florida “Mae’ Williams and Geneviee Slaughter both of Jeanerette, LA; seven stepsons: Daniel R; Marcus E., and Stanley Mickens all of Texas City; Louis, III (Gloria) and Clyde E. Mickens (Phyllis) both of Hitchcock; Benjamin L. (Debbie), and Byron S. Mickens (Anetra) both of Houston; two stepdaughters: Veronica Mickens Collins (Clifford) , and Winifred T. Turner (Van) both of Texas City; two granddaughters; one grandson, and two great granddaughters; 18 step grandchildren, and 10 step great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, November 17, 2008, at Bay Area Funeral Parlor (5410 Highway 3, Texas City, TX 77591) with Brother J. Jones presiding. Burial will follow at Mt Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM on Sunday, November 16th, followed by a wake service from 7-9 PM also at Bay Area Funeral Parlor under the direction of E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary.
Floral deliveries may be sent to Bay Area F. P., 5410 Hwy 3, in Texas City on Sunday after 4PM.
