(TEXAS CITY) - The College of the Mainland concert band under the direction of Sparky Koerner will perform a joint Christmas concert with Brazosport College and Alvin College concert bands at 7:30 p.m. on December 12 at the Lake Jackson campus of Brazosport College.

The Festival of Carols Concert, as it is billed, will feature each college band performing a 20-minute set and followed by a finale featuring all three bands.

For the finale, the bands will perform Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride and a sing-along with selections of Jingle Bells, Deck the Halls, Silent Night and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. The concert is free and open to the public.
