GALVESTON-Elroy “Stuff” George, 59 passed away from this life on Sunday morning November 23, 2008, in Conroe TX, with his wife and family by his side.
“Stuff” was born December 19, 1948, in Smithville, TX to Ihear Flowers and Lee Elroy George. “Stuff” loved being with his wife, family, watching boxing and joking with his co-workers. He was a dedicated husband, father and son.
He was preceded in death by his father; brothers: James; George, and Lynn; son: Kelsey; uncles: Tommy; Stanley, and Livingston; aunts: Althea and Rosemary.
“Stuff” is survived by his wife of 14 years, Nadine George; mother: Ithear Cahee; children: Anthony; Nyree; Victoria; Jonathan; Jacoby; Elvin, and Laroy; sister: Joanne; brothers: Ronnie; John, and Leroy (Linda); ten grandchildren; mother in law, Freddie Mae; father in-law, Leon; sisters in law: Darlene; Shavonne; Vernell; Michelle; brothers in law; devoted friends, Derrick; Leonard and Bernard; a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will begin at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 29, 2008, followed by a service to celebrating his life at 2:00 PM, at the Avenue L Baptist Church, with Rev. Louis Simpson, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
