The 32nd Annual Turkey Bowl at Adoue Park in Galveston attracted an assortment of Galveston Islanders who celebrate Thanksgiving Day in the friendly competition each year. 

Shrub Kempner was missing from the action because of a hospital stay, but his friends posed for a special photo by spelling out SHRUB with human bodies.
