AT THE BEN J. ROGERS REGIONAL VISITORS CENTER
Exciting holiday events are happening in Southeast Texas and the staff of the Ben J. Rogers Regional Visitors Center has the answer for what you and your family can do during this wonderful time!! A colorful display of area events will be located in our lobby throughout the season and our staff will be happy to assist you with making plans.
You may want to go the traditional route with caroling, eggnog, and gingerbread houses at the McFaddin-Ward House but there are several new ideas we’d like to offer. Bring all your friends to “Mistletoe and Martinis” at the Very Merry Main Street Market. How about a photo with “Santa and Banana”, a 13.9 ft. Burmese python at Gator Country? Of course, there are several parades, open houses, choir concerts, and Santa sightings. There are also several Kwanzaa events scheduled in the area.
We would like to invite our wonderful Southeast Texas community to stop by our beautiful Visitors Center to see all we have to offer in the way of holiday fun. We will be open daily from 9am to 5pm, with the exception of Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
The staff of the Ben J. Rogers Regional Visitors Center would like to wish everyone a wonderful holiday season and look forward to helping you with travel information in the future.
