Saturday December 6th 2008 was a beautiful day for the 300 plus friends and customers of Custom Specialist motorcycle shop to load up a large
pickup truck with presents and escort the toys to the Shriners Burns Hospital on 815 Market st. in Galveston.
The shop starts collecting toys in November and by December 6th it has lots of big boxes full of goddies. Everyone left Customs Specialist in La Marque at 1:30 PM with a Police & Firemen escort to the hospital where representatives of the Shrine Hospital staff received the toys for the children that are in Houston while the Galveston Hospital is being repaired.
The staff representative said that the toys would be in the hands of the children on Christmas and they were very excited about the big turn out for this annual event and were looking forward to giving the presents out to the children and seeing everyone next year.
