Able Salazar
E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary
Able Salazar, 59, departed this life on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at his residence.
Able was born to Alex and Maria Salazar on April 28, 1949, in Mercedes, Texas. He attended Galveston public schools the majority of his life and enjoy living on the Island. He was employed with Sodexo at UTMB Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as a sisters, Yolanda Salazar.
Able is survived by his brothers: Arthur of La Marque, and Armando of Galveston; sisters: Ida Salazar of Houston, and Cindy Sprouse and husband Tommy of Dallas, TX; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd , beginning at 9:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St Patrick Catholic Church with Father John Bok as celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Galveston.
