Alonza Hynson, Jr.

Alonza Hynson, Jr., 86, received his reward of eternal rest on Saturday January 3, 2009 at his residence.
Alonza was born on August 4, 1922, in Karnack, Texas to Alonza Sr. and Valree Hanson Hynson. He was a hard working self employed laborer, always providing for his family. He also was a U S Army WW II Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Davis Hynson, after which he was married to Eunice Buchanan Hynson, who also preceded him along with his parents, daughter Laura Cockrell, and sibling, Cuetti Hynson; Vernetta Grissom; Cloateel Williams; Etwill Woods, and Eddie Hynson.
He leaves precious memories with his son, Alonza Hynson III; daughter, Eunice Scott (Alvin, Jr.); 15 grandchildren; sisters, Mable Williams, and Clemmie Shelton; a host of nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will begin at 11 AM on Saturday, January 10, 2009, followed by a life celebration service at 1:00 PM both at McKinney Memorial United Methodist Church (1607 Nashby) with Dr. Mary Higgins officiating. He will be laid to rest in Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster. Under the direction of Jason Cravens and the caring staff of Fields Funeral Services.
