Pearland City Council on Monday voted unanimously to appoint Larry Marcott, Mike O'Day, Rushi Patel and Kurt Evenson to the 2009 Charter Review Commission.
One position remains to be filled on the commission.
The city council voted 1-4, with only Felicia Kyle in favor, to defeat a motion to amend an ordinance to allow the reimbursement of collection costs associated with the hotel occupancy tax.

The bonds will be issued in two phases, with the first totaling $12.9 million, and the second for $8.525 million.
The city council voted unanimously to reappoint Joel Gutierrez, Jr. to the Health Facilities Development Corporation Board. Gutierrez's term will expire in November of 2010.
