May Audrey Murray, 58, received her reward of eternal rest on Thursday, January 15, 2009, at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Webster.
May was born on January 10, 1951, in Galveston to Randolph and Mary Brown Levine . She attended public school in Galveston and was a 1970 graduate of Ball High School, where she had the honors of being Ms Hurricane and the 1st African American Homecoming Queen. She later attended Galveston College and was employed with Tideway Rehab. Center as a therapeutic assistance.
She was preceded in death by her mother and leaves precious memories with her children, Mia, Marcus and Melanie Murray; extend children, Marla Murray and Tonya Foster; her father, Deacon Randolph Levine and wife Mary; grandchildren, Johnathon, Taylor and Kenya; uncle, Samuel Windburn; devoted friends, Debbie Dieringer; Irellia Tubbs,and Deborah Robins; other elatives and friends.
May’s family asks that you join them in sharing memories of her life during a visitation from 6-8 PM on Monday, January 19, 2009, at the Avenue L Baptist Church.
