Before the Krewe of Krewes parade started and sunlight faded, several families gathered at property owned by Lynn and Emma Slott in the 2300 block of Procter Street.
This is an excellent location to watch the parade and catch beads.
Lynn and Emma were gracious hosts and fed all in attendance with rice, chili and many other delicious dishes.
At seven sharp the Krewe of Krewes Parade started departing the Seawall at Woodworth Boulevard, one block to Procter Street then west to downtown.
