E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary
Michael Lawrence, 58, departed this life on Saturday April 18, 2009.
Michael was born on January 23, 1953, in Lafayette, LA to Walter and Elnora Lawrence. He was a 1969 Ball High graduate and U. S. Air Force veteran.
Preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Richard and Walter, Jr.. He is survived by his son, Michael Lawrence (Carla); daughter: Tomisha Williams; Tonisha, Linda and Christin Lawrence; sisters: Linda Overshown (Bennie), and Mae Ferguson; brother: Elestine Lawrence; grandchildren; great grandchildren; devoted ex wife: Sarah Steward (Voris); caregiver: Sheila Richard; best friend: Lloyd Jackson; host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will begin at 9 AM on Saturday, April 25, 2009 followed by funeral service at 10:00 am in the chapel of E R Johnson Family Mortuary with his pastor Rev. William E. Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery in Chappell Hill, TX.
