Shaorin Lee Jordan, 61 departed this life on Thursday, April 23, 2009, at Mainland Medical Center.

Sharion was born on December 31, 1947, in Galveston to Jordie and Ruth Lee Hanks Jordan. She was a 1966 graduate of Central High School and later attended Galveston College. Sharion was formerly employed with John Sealy Hospital and retried from the TXDOT Ferry System.

She was preceded in death by her father and leaves precious memories with her devoted mother, Ruth Fontenot of Galveston; sisters: Rita Boone; Thelma Harris, Theresa Ann Jordan and Demetra Steele; aunt: Ethel Wiley; adopted brother, Allen Simpson (Betty); devoted friends, Patricia Hanks and Melba L. Hosey; and a host of other relatives and friends

Viewing will begin at 9 AM on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, followed by funeral service at 11:00 AM in the chapel of E R Johnson Family Mortuary with Pastor Timothy Allen, Sr. officiating.
