Pearland City Council on Monday voted unanimously to approve a resolution requesting that the Texas Department of Transportation extend proposed widening and improvements of FM 521 to Broadway Street.
The city council voted unanimously to approve an interlocal agreement with the City of Friendswood to for the disposal of household hazardous waste.
The city council passed to a future agenda a resolution to enter into an interlocal agreement with Brazoria County Municipal Utility District No. 4.
The city council tabled action on a contract for engineering and architectural services for the Hillhouse Service Center Project.
The city council took no action regarding the sale, lease or purchase of right-of-way. The item was discussed in executive session.
The city council took no action regarding the evaluation of City Manager Bill Eisen's performance goals for 2008-2009. The item was held in executive session.
The city council recognized graduates from the City of Pearland's Citizen Emergency Response Team in a ceremony during the meeting. The city council also presented proclamations for Arson Awareness Week and Crime Victim's Week.
All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present.
