Beachtown Galveston, which hosts the Coastal Living Idea House, held a celebration of the Rebirth of Galveston on Saturday.

Shirazi noted that Coastal Living had requested that he designate a non profit organization to benefit from the Idea House and he chose Galveston Historical Foundation.

"Without Historic Galveston, Galveston doesn't have much value," he said.
